By Rosie Louise

I’m Rosie, a twenty-something food and cooking lover, with lots of thoughts about life, places I want to travel, and interesting wanders. I started photographing my ambles and food adventures on Instagram, @byrosielouise, when I was at university in Oxford and my mother was sick. I found Instagram a wonderful distraction and a huge help with focusing on the positive of everyday.

I grew up in the countryside near Cambridge, was educated at Oxford and now live in North London. After graduating in Geography from University and my mother passing away, I trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine for a year, where my love of food really took off. Since, I have worked in food and restaurant PR, for restaurants both in their kitchens and in their marketing teams, for brands creating content on Instagram, and as a private food stylist.

Services

Content Creation

I have styled and shot content for many wonderful brands, largely food and drink based, including Waitrose, Marks and Spencer Food, Rioja Wines, Kettle Chips, Dr. Oetker, Milk and More, Horlicks and Weetabix.

Recipes

I am available as a recipe tester, writer, cookery teacher, food stylist and food photographer. I received a distinction in my year-long diploma at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, and went on to work in restaurant kitchens, host supper clubs and work as a food stylist for private clients and assist at magazine shoots.

Social Media Strategy

With extensive PR and digital agency experience, I went freelance in early 2020 and have focused on assisting brands with their social media strategy. From analysis of social channels, posting and community management, growth strategy, paid content strategy and copy writing, I have worked with brands in many ways to aid their social media and brand identity.

Writing

I have had an extensive background in writing, starting with my own recipe column in a student newspaper during my time at Oxford. I interned at the Fresh Produce Journal, which taught me ample about the world of food writing, and I have contributed to various online writing outlets, including Verily Magazine and The Daily Telegraph.
